Mission Statement

So far movie productions relied on mechanical movie-slates, paper-bases processes and a lot of duct tape. With the OnSet-App this is about to change. An iPad, and a specially designed iPad slate-case, that's all you need to persistently track your production information and increase speed and quality of your processes. With highly customizable templates, any previously used production log, whether cutting-, continuity- or sound-log can be adjusted on the iPad. Through automatic synchronization even splitting your logs over different iPads is no problem, since there is only one data-collection shared over the set. The best of all this? Together with the time-code - saved together during clapping the slate - all collected information can be associated to the filmed material during post-production.
