Proseminar/Seminar: Teaching iOS SS20

Course description

In the role of a tutor, you teach iOS beginners how to develop applications using Swift, SwiftUI, UIKit, Server-Side Swift, and other Apple technologies. You prepare and give a presentation about an advanced topic and help to organize and conduct the introduction course of the iPraktikum. The Teaching Swift and iOS seminar is targeted at students with experience in the Swift programming language and iOS development using native Apple frameworks.

Prerequisites

Participating students are familiar with the concepts of object-oriented programming and have experience in iOS development (Swift and/or Objective-C). 

Important: This teaching course is for students who are experienced iOS Developers. If you do not have knowledge in iOS development, you cannot participate in this course! Have a look at the related courses instead.

  1. Feel free to attend the info meeting (Tuesday, February 4, 2020, 5 pm - 6 pm, room 01.07.014) for detailed information.
  2. Please fill the application form below. (by February 7, 2020, 6 pm)
  3. We invite you to a short personal interview by end of February 8, 2020 - pick a time slot that works for you. Interviews take place on February 11, 2020.
  4. After we have accepted you, prioritize the Seminar "Teaching iOS" in the matching system of the faculty (February 12, 2020, 11:59 pm)
